State Collecting Worn Flags For Proper Disposal

The New York State Office of General Services is collecting worn and tattered American flags for proper disposal later this month. Flags can be brought to the Homer Folks Facility on Hill Street in Oneonta from now until May 22nd. All flags collected will be properly folded prior to disposal which will occur Sunday, May 26th at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse as part of the Memorial Watchfire hosted by the Vietnam Veterans of America.
