Otsego County Office For Aging Seeks Input From Those 60+
Otsego County Office for the Aging (OFA) is seeking input from Otsego County residents age 60 and older, and their caregivers for the Community Needs Survey. Residents are asked to complete the survey before September 2019 in order to provide feedback regarding the services and supports that would be helpful to ensure older residents are able to remain living independently in their home and community. Topics include transportation, social activities, housing, caregiver support and more. “We know that most people want to remain living in their own home as they age, instead of moving into a long-term care facility. We want to hear directly from residents about what supports are needed to make sure that’s an available option to them,” said OFA Director, Tamie MacDonald. Paper surveys are available by contacting the Office at (607) 547-4232 or (607) 432-9041.
Electronic surveys can also be obtained by going to the department website at www.otsegocounty.com, and an online survey is available by going to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/otsegoagingsurvey. For further information, please contact Office for the Aging at (607) 547-4232.
