R.I.P. Country Singer Mindy McCready (1975-2013)

It was a pleasure to play this gal's music at the beginning of my 25-year radio career.  Her big breakthrough song was "Ten Thousand Angels" which sold 2,000,000 copies.  My WDOS listeners loved it.  She was talented and beautiful.

And she was her worst enemy.  Reportedly, she died today (2-17-2013) by her own hand.  She was just 37.
