Cooperstown residents got to weigh in Monday on plans to build a 150 space parking lot at Susquehanna Avenue and Walnut Street to be used by Bassett Hospital. According to AllOTSEGO, Officials with the health care network say the new lot would be used for employee parking, making the current lot near the hospital available for patient use. Three Riverside Drive houses already owned by Bassett would be demolished to create the lot. The Village Board is expected to make a decision next month.
