He once was called "the nicest guy who ever played professional golf."  Ken Venturi passed away today at the age of 82.  Just 12 days before this he was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Venturi overcame a debilitating stutter problem to become the voice of CBS golf for more than three decades.  He won the 1964 U.S. Open and 14 major tournaments.
