Otsego County Health Has Advice For COVID-19 Vaccine Seekers 65+

The Otsego County Department of Health is asking those in the 65+ age group wanting to get the COVID-19 vaccine to contact area participating pharmacies as the department expects it will not receive additional vaccine for that age group.

The NY State Department of Health is working with pharmacies to begin vaccinating this population. According to a press release from Otsego County health officials, pharmacies vaccinating only those in the 65+ population will reduce competition for vaccine for the senior population.
