Otsego Co. Reports Huge Jump in Single Day COVID-19 Cases
The Otsego County Department of Health reported yesterday (1/19) that there were a whopping 80 new confirmed cases Tuesday with 21 people currently hospitalized with complications from the virus. There are currently 263 known active cases in the county with a total of 23 COVID-19 related deaths. The Health Dept. has a COVID-19 dashboard with daily updates for the latest information.
Delaware County Health officials have an update from yesterday (1/19), reporting 22 new cases yesterday with 129 active and there are 16 people hospitalized. The total deaths in the county, related to coronavirus complication is now at 22 with one new death. In Chenango County, the health department reported new COVID-19 stats for the dates 1/16 - 1/19 on their facebook page. There are currently 182 active cases, 25 hospitalizations related to the virus, and 32 total deaths.
