Oscar Winner Reese Witherspoon and Husband Bad Mouth a Cop and Land in the Big House!

Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon and her talent agent husband, Jim Toth, landed in jail on Friday April 19.

Toth was pulled over by a Georgia State policeman and was arrested for DUI.  His wife, actress Witherspoon, reportedly started bad mouthing the officer.

Toth was arrested for DUI.  Witherspoon was charged with disorderly conduct. Ironically, Reese Witherspoon was named in 2007 as "Hollywood's Most Likable Star."

Apparently the exchange went like this (from the police report):

“Mrs. Witherspoon began to hang out the window and say that she did not believe that I was a real police officer … I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet.”

Once her husband was arrested, Reese got out of the car, and when she was instructed to get back in, “Mrs. Witherspoon asked, ‘Do you know my name?’ I answered, ‘No, I don’t need to know your name.’ I then added, ‘right now.’ Mrs. Witherspoon stated, ‘You’re about to find out who I am.’”

“Mrs. Witherspoon also stated, ‘You are going to be on national news.’ I advised Mrs. Witherspoon that was fine.”

 

What a couple of idiots! (That is my opinion, not in the police report!)
