Oneonta Police Department Arrest 3 on Felony Assualt Charges!

**Felony Arrest**
On Saturday August 29, 2015 at about 6:45 AM the City of Oneonta Police Department responded to AO Fox Hospital Emergency Department for a reported victim at that location who had been stabbed. Upon arrival the officers found a victim who had suffered one non-life threatening stab wound. Pursuant to an investigation the following persons were arrested for the class D felony of Assault in the 2nd degree and the class A misdemeanor of Conspiracy in the 5th degree:
• Avi Ray Fiqueroa, 25 years old from Oneonta
• Nancy E Callahan, 37 years old from Richfield Springs
• Future S. Clovis, 16 years old male from Oneonta
In addition, Future S. Clovis was charged with the class A misdemeanors of Menacing in the 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree.
The investigation revealed that the victim had been walking on Chestnut St Oneonta NY in the area of Fonda Ave when a confrontation ensued. Once the confrontation was over the victim found themselves with a single stab wound to the upper buttocks that required medical treatment.
All three suspects were held for arraignment in the City of Oneonta Court.
The maximum penalty for a class D felony is a term of imprisonment not to exceed 7 years.
The maximum penalty for a class A misdemeanor is a term of incarceration not to exceed 1 year.
