OHS Pool Rally Tonight!

The Committee to Restore the OHS Pool is hosting a Pool Renovation support rally Tuesday June 24th, 7:00 pm at the OHS pool. Everyone is encouraged to attend and show your support. The 1.4 million dollar project, expected to be funded primarily by state funds combined with local donations by individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations, will require no increase in tax dollars.

The project will restore all the mechanical systems at the pool, allowing for greatly expanded community use of the facility such as: district-wide school classes in swim instruction, water safety; life guard/swim instructor and officials training; community open swim; competition training; expanded YMCA programming and boys and girls swim team.The School Board will hold a public information meeting on the project Wednesday the 25th at Greater Plains 7:00 pm with a referendum vote on July 8th.
