OHS Graduate Carleigh Bettiol Heads to Great White Way in Acclaimed Musical!!

Former Oneonta resident and OHS graduate Carleigh Bettiol is among the cast of the new, acclaimed musical on Off-Broadway, "Hamilton."  The musical takes a tuneful look at the life of Alexander Hamilton, the first U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and one of the Founding Fathers of our country.

The show can be seen at the Public Theater in New York City.  Reviews are already in and it looks like this is going to be a hit.  The New York Post says "the production is sterling, energetically directed and choreographed."  Variety called it "astonishingly fluid production" and the New York Times praised the lyrics for the musical as "exuberantly chiseled, a marvel."

Congratulations to a beautiful young girl from Oneonta who has been chasing her star ever since she was a tyke...and looks like she is just about to grab it.
