North Norwich Motorcycle Accident Kills One

The Chenango county sheriff’s office investigated a fatal motorcycle car crash Saturday evening around 6:45 pm on state route 12 in the town of north Norwich.

A motorcycle being operated by 38-year-old David A. Klingman of Sherburne was traveling north on State Route 12 in the Town of North Norwich when he crossed the center line and struck a southbound vehicle operated by 73-year-old Allan Marsters of Sherburne.

Marsters and his passenger were not injured. Klingman was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the North Norwich Fire Department and City of Norwich ambulance.
