New York Has Doubled Its COVID-19 Testing Capacity

New York has doubled its coronavirus testing capacity to reach 40,000 diagnostic tests per day. Testing criteria now includes all individuals returning to work under phase one of the state’s reopening plan which is in effect in Otsego, Chenango and Delaware Counties. Others who should be tested include those with COVID-19 symptoms along with individuals in contact with a person known to be COVID-19 positive. First responders and health care workers should also be tested.
