New Polls Show 91% Favor Background Checks For Gun Purchases. How About You?

91%.  That is quite a figure.  In this divisive and partisan environment we live in today, it is amazing that 91% of Americans can agree on anything regardless of what it is.

New polls out this week from Quinnipiac College, CNN and ORC International show 9 out of every ten Americans favor the establishing of background checks when someone purchases a firearm.

I don't think 91% of Americans agreed on the choice of Mother Teresa for the Medal of Freedom!  In any case I want to know what you think of this issue which is a "hot button issue" this week in Washington.
