The folks at the Tinker Federal Credit Union ran to safety in the bank vault when the tornado sirens wailed this week.  As the building came crashing down around them the 22 huddled together like sardines listening to the horror going on all around them.  When the noise quieted down they emerged, safe.

FEMA says that typically "a bank vault does not meet federal safe room guidelines.

Tell that to the 22 people at Tinker Federal Credit Union who are alive today.
