Middleburgh Traffic Stop Leads to Felony Drug Arrest
A traffic stop in Middleburgh leads to the driver facing a felony charge. Police say Joseph Rabbitt of Broome was stopped on State Route 145 last Thursday afternoon and the officer detected a marijuana odor coming from the car so the vehicle was searched resulting in the discovery of cocaine and prescription painkillers. Rabbitt was booked for felony drug possession then released on his own recognizance with an appearance pending in Middleburgh Town Court.
