Methamphetamine Lab Seized in Tioga County

Police agencies in Tioga County executed a search warrant at a residence in Newark Valley on Tuesday, leading to the seizure of an active methamphetamine lab and the arrest of six people.

The search of the residence revealed 7 ounces of liquid methamphetamine, 5 grams of processed methamphetamine, hypodermic needles and numerous items associated with the drug, including a .410 gauge shotgun.

All six were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 2nd degree, a Class A felony. The six were arraigned in Town of Newark Valley Court and remanded to the Tioga county jail without bail. More charges are pending as the investigation continues.
