Man in Delaware County Jail Faces Criminal Contempt Charges

On Friday, according the the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, additional charges were filed against a 27-year-old inmate at  the Delaware County Correctional Facility.  Anthony C. Masi is charged with one count of Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, a Class E Felony after violating an Order of Protection issued by the City of Norwich Court. Masi had previously been convicted of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree within the previous five years.

Masi was arraigned in the Town of Delhi Court and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000.00 cash bail, or $2,000.00 secure property bond, to appear in the Town of Delhi Court at a later date for further Court action.
