Look at These Unforgettable Faces as Hee Haw Celebrated It’s 10th Anniversary (1978)

A listener tipped me off to this wonderful video clip.

In 1978 the television show "Hee Haw" celebrated its10th Anniversary by holding a big gala celebration at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.  Everybody came and entertained.  When I first started this clip I had no idea of the emotions I would feel as it unrolled in front of me.

I started doing my radio show at WDOS in 1989 and soon was immersed in country music.  As this short video ran I felt a sense of "this is your life" as the Hee Haw celebration entertainers were introduced.  Many of them have passed away and several others are retired.  Boy, the memories that came rushing by of me spinning all of their records over the years.
