Local COVID Cases Up Over Weekend

The Otsego County Department of Health reported on Friday (12/18) that there were 35 new cases. Ten county residents have died from COVID-19 related complications. Health officials say there are currently 142 active cases. Health officials will have a weekend update later today.

Delaware County Health officials have an update yesterday (12/20), reporting 7 new cases yesterday with 100 active and there are 4 people hospitalized. The COVID death toll is at 10 in the county now.

Chenango County has suffered a total of 16 COVID related deaths. The current coronavirus cases that are active (as of 12/18) if at 126 and 8 people are in the hospital.
