Assemblyman Cliff Crouch has announced that help is available for businesses impacted by flooding from Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee.

Small businesses may apply for grants through New York’s small business storm recovery program.

Crouch said his district hasn’t fully recovered from Irene and Lee which happened in 2011. He is urging small businesses who have not taken advantage of the program to find out if they are eligible.

Through the program, businesses are eligible to apply for low interest loans, as well as grants of $50,000 or more to help replace physical items. To begin the process business should call their nearest small business development center for assistance.
