Assemblyman Cliff Crouch will host another informational forum Saturday on the NY SAFE Act. Crouch has previously held forums in Chenango and Broome counties, and Saturday he will be in Delaware County at the Walton Central School.

Joining the assemblyman will be Delaware County Sheriff Thomas Mills and Delaware County Clerk Sharon O’Dell. The forum will explain the importance of understanding the provisions of the SAFE Act and how it will affect firearm owners.

Crouch, who voted against the NY SAFE Act, will answer questions and concerns of citizens and their frustrations. Crouch says the SAFE Act was passed with no public discussion, no public debate and no input from law enforcement. Until the courts overturn the law officials must inform law abiding firearm owners of the impact of the law on their efforts to protect themselves and their families.

Saturday’s forum will be at the Walton Central School from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The forum is free and everyone is invited to attend.
