Joe Conley, beloved “Ike Godsey” from The Waltons, Dies at 85! (VIDEO)

Joe Conley, "Ike Godsey" from the Waltons, has died in California from Alzheimers Disease.  He was 85.

A bit character actor for years, Conley found fame as the beloved postmaster and general store keeper on Waltons Mountains in the hit series from the 1970s.  Mr. Godsey was such a popular role that his character was written into nearly 180 episodes of the show.  He later appeared in "Waltons" reunions shows and at television nostalgia conventions.
