January 7 Central NY COVID Update With Another Death

The Otsego County Department of Health reported yesterday (1/6) that there were 27 new cases with 19 people currently hospitalized with complications from the virus.  There are currently 129 active cases in the county. Following another death from virus complications, the death toll is up to 18. The Health Dept. has a COVID-19 dashboard with daily updates for the latest information.

Delaware County Health officials have an update yesterday (1/6), reporting 25 new cases yesterday with 151 active and there are 2 people hospitalized. In Chenango County, According to the Chenango County Health Department, as of 1/6/21, the health department reported 185 active cases with 11 people in the hospital and a total of 18 deaths related to complications from the virus.
