January 11 Central NY COVID Update

The Otsego County Department of Health reported yesterday (1/10) that there were 17 new cases with 15 people currently hospitalized with complications from the virus.  There are currently 165 active cases in the county. The total number of deaths related to virus complications is at 20. The Health Dept. has a COVID-19 dashboard with daily updates for the latest information.

Delaware County Health officials have an update yesterday (1/10), reporting 9 new cases yesterday with 147 active and there are 4 people hospitalized. In Chenango County, according to a press release on Friday from the county's health department, 7 patients in nursing homes have died of COVID-19 in Chenango County so far this month. The total number of deaths in the county now stands at 28. Other COVID-19 totals from the weekend have not been released yet.
