The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office issued an update on the health status of the Northern Barred Owl that was struck recently by an ambulance. Wildlife Rehabilitators Doris and Charlie Koop have transferred the animal to the Cornell Wildlife Health Center which is a college of veterinary medicine. The owl suffered a head injury and due to this injury suffered damage to both of his eyes. The center is renowned at improving the health of native wild animals.
