Happy Birthday to Wayne Rogers of M+A+S+H

Wayne Rogers celebrates his 79th birthday today.

Rogers starred as Trapper John in the hit comedy show M+A+S+H.  He also starred in another popular sitcom titled House Calls.

Wayne Rogers is one of the wealthiest sitcom stars from the 1970s and regularly appears on the FOX network show Cashin' In which deals with financial investment issues.  Although he will always be remembered for his role as the surgeon on M+A+S+H, he is not the only actor to play Trapper John.  Elliot Gould played him in the movie verison of M+A+S+H, and later Pernell Roberts played him in the series Trapper John, M.D.
