The "Aida" elephants that spent the summer at the Glimmerglass Festival Opera House have found a new home in Norwich.

After an online auction ended at the end of the opera season, the winning bid of $3,900 dollars went to Bill Smith of Norwich.

Smith will place the elephants on the lawn at his home on west hill in Norwich alongside his other sculptures.

Smith used to own the former Smith Ford, LLC., in Norwich.
