Deputies Investigating ATV Accident that Injured Walton Man

Delaware County Deputies are investigating an ATV accident on Dryden Road in the Town of Tompkins Monday that severely injured 18-year-old Antonio Ranacelli, of Walton.

Ranacelli was operating a 2003 Yamaha ATV in a Southerly direction when he left the roadway to enter a trail into the woods. The ATV rolled over, throwing Ranacelli from the ATV.

Deputies say Ranacelli was transported to Albany Medical Center by Life Net helicopter with life threatening injuries and was reported by the hospital staff to be in serious but stable condition later on in the evening.

The investigation is still on going.
