UHS Delaware Valley Hospital is giving back to local schools for the upcoming school year.

The hospital was unable to hold their annual Teddy Bear Clinic this year, which normally invites second grade students from five local school districts (Hancock, Walton, Livingston Manor, Downsville and Roscoe), to spend a few hours touring several departments of the hospital and meeting with different health care workers.

Since the Teddy Bear Clinic was unable to take place, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital is giving back by donating reusable sports bottles to every student in grades Pre-K through 12 in each of the five districts.

The bottles represent each school with their school colors and mascot, and have a spot for students to write their name to prevent any mix-ups in the classrooms. In giving all students a reusable water bottle, their hope is to help with stopping the spread of germs at water fountains as well as being environmentally friendly.
