Cooperstown’s Police Advisory Board held its first meeting on Wednesday with a focus on department challenges and how to overcome them.  It was also the first meeting for newly appointed Police Chief Frank Cavilieri who says the big three challenges are supervision, training and ensuring officers’ mental health.

According to AllOTSEGO, Mayor Ellen Tillapaugh Kuch made several assignments including one to research the county jail’s ministry along with learning more about the multi-county Mobile Crisis Assessment Team and talking with the Otsego County Department of Social Services.
