Delaware County Officials Arrest Mahler for Criminal Mischief

On June 11, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division arrested John K. Mahler, 25, of Walton for Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree.

It is alleged that Mahler broke a cell door window while incarcerated in the Delaware County Jail. Mahler was arraigned in the Town of Delhi Court before Judge Gumo and released back to the custody of the Sheriff where he is currently being held in jail on unrelated felony charges.

Mahler is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Delhi Court on June 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
