December 30 Central NY COVID Update
The Otsego County Department of Health reported yesterday (12/29) that there were 23 new cases with 17 people currently hospitalized with complications from the virus. There are currently 92 active cases in the county. Following a new death yesterday, the death toll is now up to 17. The Health Dept. has a COVID-19 dashboard with daily updates for the latest information.
Delaware County Health officials have an update yesterday (12/29), reporting 12 new cases yesterday with 96 active and there are 4 people hospitalized. Chenango County suffered two new COVID related deaths yesterday bringing the death total to 18. According to the Chenango County Health Department, 21 new virus cases were confirmed on 12/29. There are 127 active cases currently and 6 people are in the hospital.
