Davenport Bicentennial Events This Weekend

The Town of Davenport has a full weekend of events coming up to celebrate their 20th birthday (1817-2017):

Saturday, July 29:

8am to 11am: Breakfast at Pindars Corners Fire Department

10am to Noon:Open House at Davenport Historical Society

11am to 1pm:  Scavenger Hunt at DHS

11am to 4pm:  Presbyterian Church Open House

11am: Over 40 Softball Game (278-5507)

11am on:  Hot Dogs, Burgers and more (Fire Dept. Aux)

11-3: Chinese Auction

11-4: Senior Citizens Bake Sale, Crafts, Ice Cream

1-4pm:  Childrens games (by school)

3pm till gone: Davenport FD chicken BBQ

6pm:  Giant parade

7-9pm: Dance w/"Off the Record'

Dusk: FIREWORKS

Sunday July 30:

9am to 2pm: Car and Antique Farm Equipment Show

10am:  Church services at Presbyterian Church

11am: Round Robin ball games

East Meredith Fire Department selling burgers, hot dogs and more
