COVID-19 Update For The Tri-Counties Feb. 8
The daily new coronavirus cases continue on a downward trend in our region. The Otsego County Department of Health reported yesterday (2/7) that there were 4 new confirmed cases with 16 people currently hospitalized with complications from the virus. There are currently 123 known active cases in the county with a total of 31 COVID-19 related deaths. The Health Dept. has a COVID-19 dashboard with daily updates for the latest information.

Delaware County Health officials have an update from yesterday (2/7), reporting 10 new cases yesterday. There are 100 active and there are 19 people hospitalized. The total number of deaths related to coronavirus complications is now at 39. Go to delawarecountypublichealth.com/covid-19/#Dash to access the Delaware County Public Health COVID-19 dashboard.
In Chenango County, the health department reported new COVID-19 stats for 2/5 on their facebook page. At that time, the health department was reporting 139 active cases, 25 hospitalizations related to the virus, and the total number of deaths related to COVID-19 complications are currently at 47.
