COVID-19 Update For The Tri-Counties Feb. 3
The daily new coronavirus cases continue on a downward trend in our region. The Otsego County Department of Health reported yesterday (2/2) that there were 8 new confirmed cases with 14 people currently hospitalized with complications from the virus. There are currently 137 known active cases in the county with a total of 30 COVID-19 related deaths, 1 new one yesterday. The Health Dept. has a COVID-19 dashboard with daily updates for the latest information.

Delaware County Health officials have an update from yesterday (2/2), reporting NO new cases yesterday for the first time in quite a while. There are 86 active and there are 19 people hospitalized. The total number of deaths related to coronavirus complications is now at 36 after one new death related to the coronavirus yesterday. In Chenango County, the health department reported new COVID-19 stats for 2/2 on their facebook page. There are currently 147 active cases, 21 hospitalizations related to the virus, and the total number of deaths related to COVID-19 complications are currently at 45.
