Country Music Legend George Jones Dies at 81

News has just been announced that country music legend George Jones has died in a Nashville hospital.  He was 81.

Many have called Jones "the quintessential country singer."  He was married for a time to Tammy Wynette and they were known as Mr. and Mrs. Country Music.  Jones' career spanned more than  a half century  He was one of just a handful of artists to have Number One singles in five different decades.

He recorded more than 150 albums and was in the midst of a final "farewell tour" when he passed away.
