The picture above is why I participate in Relay For Life.  Tonight I'll be joining my sister's team at the Chenango County Fair Grounds in Norwich, New York.  To celebrate, honor, and remember those affected by cancer.

This Saturday, July 19, 2014 is the 12th Annual American Legacy Scholarship Run sponsored by The American Legion Riders Post 259.

Saturday, July 18-20, 2014, head on out to Gilbert Lake State Park in Laurens, New York, for W.O.W. (Wear It On The Water) Paddle Fest.  Paddling skills, safety, and fun events for the whole family.

This Saturday, July 12, 2014, the Oneonta Farmers Market will hold its annual grill day event, featuring free samples of locally-raised foods hot off the grill, great BBQ recipe ideas, a free drawing and display by Latte Lounge, balloon give-aways, and live music with Heaven’s Back Door.

This Saturday, June 28th the Oneonta Farmers’ Market will hold a Garden Party event featuring cut flower displays, tips on flower arranging and planning perennial gardens, a free drawing to win a beautiful bouquet from market vendor, ARK Floral, and a display table by Benson Agency Real Estate.

This coming weekend, June 28 and 29, 2014, is Farm Heritage Weekend at Gilbert Lake State Park, County Highway 12 in Laurens, New York.

Last Thursday, June 12, 2014, Oneonta Job Corps Academy held a Student Recognition Ceremony at the City of Oneonta Municipal Airport, which was attended by Congressman Chris Gibson.

For the past several years -- nine to be exact-- the First United Methodist Church in Walton has been holding two events on the same weekend.

The Delaware County Mountain Eagle Riders are sponsoring their first Benefit Run for Our Heroes of Delaware County.

As part of the 75th anniversary of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, three Hall of Fame legends will share the lessons they learned with the next generation of athletes in Central New York.
