For the past several years -- nine to be exact-- the First United Methodist Church in Walton has been holding two events on the same weekend.

This year those dates are Friday June 20th with "Songs Of The Human Spirit" from 7-9 at the church, 101 North Street in Walton. The admission is a single canned or boxed food item for the Walton Food Bank. Local musicians such as Bill Seneschal, Don Gylkenson and a host of others will be providing the entertainment for the evening.

On Saturday June 21st the streets around the Church will be teaming with people, food, activities and music for The 9th Annual FUMC Street Fair from 10am until 5pm.  Charlie Grossman and The Hulse Brothers Band will kick off the day at 10 am, followed by The Celtic Band around 12:30.Other performers include Jeff Wood, No Center Line (Chuck Conkling and Teri Stratford), Bill Seneschal and Red, White and Bluegrass, as well as the FUMC Bell Choir

It will be a full day of family activities, clown show, puppet show, dunk tank, crafts & vendors, face painting, pie sale, watermelon eating contest and free hot dogs.
