Bring Food Donations To Oneonta Halloween Parade

Since the Canadian Pacific Railway sold track through Oneonta, resulting in the cancellation of the Holiday Train and much needed food donations to Opportunities For Otsego for their Holiday baskets, an effort by the Oneonta Lions Club and The United Way of Delaware and Otsego counties to replace that food resource will happen at the Oneonta Halloween parade.

On October 31st at 7pm during the Halloween parade, onlookers are asked to deposit non-perishable food donations into grocery carts pushed in the parade for this collection purpose.  Donations will be distributed to needy families in our community through OFO and The Salvation Army Food Pantry.
