Brindisi/Tenney Race Still Too Close To Call

It’s been a week-and-a-half since Election Day and we still don’t know who won the 22nd District Congressional race between incumbent Anthony Brindisi and Claudia Tenney, who Brindisi defeated in 2018. Tenney currently holds a 28,000 vote lead over Brindisi. Absentee ballots are being calculated now that a judge approved the process to start. The counting could go well into next week as overseas and military absentee ballots postmarked by Election Day are being accepted through Monday.
