My wife is always on me when I go shopping with her about my "impulse buying."  If I like the packaging, I usually buy the product.  Hence, I never go shopping with her.

What is wrong with impulse buying?  The colors on the boxes are mesmerizing, the exotic new vegetables call to me, and when I want something from the meat department, darn it, I want it!

My wife, on the other hand wanders around the market strictly adhering to her carefully laid out shopping list.

Am I wrong.  No!  Meet Henry Brinkman in this video.  Watch carefully, he enters the story at a minute and a half into the film.  HE IS ME!  I can completely identify with this poor soul.  He wanted oysters darn it and he got them!

Believe it or not this is an actual educational film from 1950.  To teach women how to shop for food.  I think it is a riot.

HENRY BRINKMAN....YOU ARE MY HERO!
