Andy Williams was a major prime time player with his own variety show which ran from 1962 to 1971, one of the longest of any of this type of show.

The hour was filled with comedy sketches and music and a whole host of guest stars made their way to Andy's stage:  Pearl Bailey, Johnny Cash, Raymond Burr, Buddy Hackett, Connie Francis, Roy Rogers, Johnny Mathis...more than 200 stars in total!

Regulars on Andy's show included his then wife Claudine Longet, Jonathon Winters and Ray Stevens.  The Lennon Sisters made frequent appearances.  Andy introduced the Osmond Brothers on his show in 1962 (Donny Osmond was just 5 years old!).

After the show was cancelled Andy Williams produced a series of annual Christmas shows which were extremely p[popular.  Williams died in 2012 at age 84.
