Bainbridge Declares Water Emergency, Urges Conservation

Officials in the Village of Bainbridge are urging residents to take every step possible to conserve water until further notice.

The pump in the village's well is malfunctioning and gallons of water are being lost.

Officials say a make-shift pump is being brought in today. But the existing pump could give out at any time.

For now, the village clerk's office says, it's not anticipated a boil water order will be needed.
