Lee Marshall, the "voice" of cereal icon Tony the Tiger, has died of cancer at the age of 64. He was also one of the most celebrated ring announcers in the world of professional wrestling.

While Marshall has been the voice of Tony since 2005 he had big shoes (or big vocal cords) to fill.  The legendary voice actor Thurl Ravenscroft created "Thattt's greeaatt" for Tony at the beginning of the ad campaign.  He voiced the tiger for more than 50 years.

Ravenscroft is one of the most legendary voice actors of them all.  He was also the singer on "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch" as well as being the voice of many of Walt Disney's haunted theme park attractions.

At the Disney theme parks he is the voice that narrates the rides at the Haunted Mansion and the Pirates of the Caribbean.
