How many remember The Tepee in Cherry Valley?  I was so pleased to go by it the other day and see it is still going strong after all these years!  It was always a treat for us kids to stop there and buy an Indian drum or some candy on our way down the NYS Thruway of my youth...a highway called ROUTE 20!

The fifty foot tepee was erected in 1950 and has been welcoming visitors for 62-years without ever closing its doors.  They say memories never die.  That is true..and this is a GREAT memory from the black and white days of my 1950s youth.

Do you remember the TePee?
