She sang one of the most recognizable product jingles of the 20th century.

Page Morton Black was already a well-known cabaret singer when she married William Black, the president of the Chock Full O' Nuts coffee company.  He was looking for a jingle singer for his TV ads and he looked no farther than his own home.  Mrs. Black, who became a major philanthropist after her husband died, sang the catchy jingle for more than two decades.

She was 97 years old at the time of her death yesterday and was a past chairwoman of the National Parkinson Diseases Foundation..

Take a listen to the famous jingle below.  It is fun to note that the original lyrics of the last line read: "Better coffee Rocekfeller's money can't buy."  The Rockefeller family complained about the use of their name in the jingle, so the words were changed to "Better coffee a millionaire's money cant buy."
