Actress Marjorie Lord, who co-starred with Danny Thomas in the 1950's Emmy Award-winning sitcom "Make Room for Daddy," has died.  She was 97.

Lord found herself typecast as a sweet housewife for many years after leaving the Thomas show.  She is reported to have told her agent once, "Please, find me the role of a wicked prostitute!".  Her long career included many movies, Broadway shows and guest appearances slots on TV shows like "The Love Boat" and Bob Hope's holiday specials. Her daughter, Anne Archer, is an Academy Award-nominee for 1987's "Fatal Attraction"
