Dorothy McGuire and her sisters, Phyllis and Christine, were the number one sister act in the 1950s and 1960s.  Perhaps second only ever in popularity to the Andrews Sisters.

They had major hits at the dawning of the rock era like "Sincerely," "Picnic," "Sugartime" and ""May You Always."  They performed together as recently as three years ago.  She is survived by her two singing sisters.  The McGuire's were one of the most popluar guests on the musical variety shows of the 1960s.

The group received six gold records and were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame
