Baby Boomer Alert: Do They Even Make These Things Anymore?

These were about as much fun as you could have in business machines class in high school in the late 1960s.  This typewriter erasure had it all:  A wheel, some funky abrasives to scratch things with, a crazy wire brush and more.  I haven't seen one in years, but then again, who buys a typewriter anymore.

Are you a baby boomer old enough to remember playing with this neat little item in school an eternity ago?

Oh, and did you know that there is even a gigantic sculpture of this iconic item from our past done by Claes Oldenburg?  It is on the ground of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
